AIRED NOVEMBER 2019 ON ARD
Lisa (Inez Bjørg David) and Patrick (Lucas Prisor) are a happy couple and want to start a family together. The catch: they already have a family each, including their ex-partners Martin (Steve Windolf) and Katja (Anna Schäfer), who have to be integrated into the complicated patchwork structure. The children's time is divided equally between the separated parents - one week with mom and the next week with dad. As idyllic as "bonus family" sounds, life in a patchwork family is of course not. Patrick's son, the polite and reserved William (Levis Kachel), has to share a room with same age Eddie (Fillin Mayer) when they're with Lisa and Patrick. Eddie never misses an opportunity to show his new bonus brother and bonus father what he thinks of them: nothing.
