The Inspector and his Anger

AIRES DECEMBER 7TH 2020 ON ZDF

When 19-year-old Tim Jatzkowski (Aaron Hilmer) does not come home, there is nothing to worry about at first. Then his father, the luxury car dealer Frank Jatzkowski (Benno Fürmann), receives a ransom demand. Martin Brühl (Roeland Wiesnekker) and his team come to a shocked mother (Ulrike C. Tscharre) and a rather unconcerned father who thinks the police should do their job and find Tim. The inspector wants to convince Jatzkowski to pay the ransom. Among Jatzkowski's regular customers, whom he supplies with tuned luxury sports cars, have contacts with Berlin clans. He decides to not pay the ransom. A first lead brings Martin Brühl to the wine merchant Oliver Froehling. A cat-and-mouse-game begins between Brühl, Froehling and Jatzkowski's extremely dangerous customers. Martin and his colleague and girlfriend Susanne (Meike Droste) come across a past tragedy - a nightly car race on Kurfürstendamm with a catastrophic outcome.
